Composition (Active Ingredient)

Pentosan Polysulfate Sodium (250 mg/mL)
Pharmacological Action

Stimulates cartilage matrix synthesis (glycosaminoglycans & proteoglycans).

Enhances synovial fluid viscosity for smoother joint function.

Improves blood supply to subchondral bone and joint tissues.

Provides anti-inflammatory activity by reducing harmful enzymes and mediators in joints.
Indications

Horses with degenerative joint disease (DJD) / osteoarthritis.

Management of joint pain and stiffness in performance horses.

Recovery support after joint injury or strenuous exercise.

Long-term joint health maintenance in aging horses.
Dosage & Administration
-
3 mg/kg bodyweight (commonly 6 mL for a 500 kg horse).

Intramuscular (IM) injection once weekly for 4 weeks.

Maintenance dosing may be repeated every 3–6 months as needed.
