   • DECTOMAX® Injectable is a sterile solution containing 1% doramectin. It treats parasitic infections in cattle and swine by subcutaneous or intramuscular injection at the rate of 1 mL/110 lb. of body weight.

2. Indications for Use:

   • Specifically developed for cattle and swine, DECTOMAX® is highly effective against all stages of cattle grubs, internal parasites, mange mites, and lice.

3. Dosage and Administration:

   • The recommended dosage for cattle is 200 mcg/kg of body weight, administered based on the animal's weight to deliver the precise dosage needed for effective treatment.

4. Safety Information and Warnings:

   • DECTOMAX® should not be used in female dairy cattle over 20 months old, calves destined for veal, or in dogs as it may cause fatalities. There is a 35-day pre-slaughter withdrawal period. Avoid use with Valcor within 15 days of slaughter.

5. Precautions:

   • Treatment timing is crucial to avoid severe reactions. Treat cattle after the heel fly season to prevent adverse reactions caused by the destruction of Hypoderma larvae at sensitive developmental stages.

6. Consultation and Contraindications:

   • Consultation with a veterinarian is advised to diagnose and manage parasitism. It's not suitable for human use and should be kept out of reach of children. Caution is advised when treating cattle with cholinesterase inhibitors or breeding bulls, where safety has not been evaluated.
