Indications:

Usage Guidelines:

COMPOSITION It contains 10 mg of ivermectin (80% 22.23%-dihydro-avermectin B1a and 20% 22.23%-dihydro-avermectin B1b) in each ml. PLACE OF USE / INDICATIONS Zimec Injectable Solution is used against the following internal and external parasites in cattle and sheep: In cattle; Gastrointestinal nematodes: Haemonchus placei, Ostertagia sp., O. ostertagi (adult, larval stages, hypobiotic larvae), O. Iyrate (adult, L4 larva), Mecistocirrus digitatus (adult), Trichostrongylus axei, T. colubriformis, Coopera oncophora . punctata, C. pectinata, Cooperia sp., Nematodirus helvetianus (adult), N. spathiger (adult), Oesophagostomum radiatum, Strongyloides papillosus (adult), Bunostomum phlebotomum, Toxocara vitulorum Lung worms: Dictyocaulus viviparus Filariasis agents on the skin: Parafilaria bovicola Eye nematodes: Thelazia sp. (adult) Nokra fly larvae: Hypoderma bovis (larva), Hypoderma lineatum (larva), Dermatobia hominis (larva) Wound worms (parasitic period): Chrysomya bezziana, Cochliomyia hominivorax Scabies: Psoroptes communis bovis, Psoroptes communis ovis, Sarcoptes scabiei var. bovis, Chorioptes bovis Lice: Linognathus vituli, Haematophinus eurysternus, Solenopotes capillatus, Damalinia bovis Ticks (some single-host ticks, soft ticks): Boophilus sp., Ornithodoros savignyi DRUG RESIDUAL WARNINGS IN FOOD Drug Residue Elimination Time (D.KAS): During the treatment and after the last drug application, cattle raised for meat should not be sent to slaughter before 35 days and sheep 42 days. Not applicable to dairy cows and sheep producing milk for human consumption. METHOD OF COMMERCIAL PRESENTATION It is offered for sale in white colored glass vials of 20 ml, 50 ml, 100 ml and 250 ml in cardboard boxes. USAGE AND DOSAGE Zimec Injectable Solution is administered subcutaneously only. It is injected subcutaneously under the loose skin in the neck area or behind the scapula in cattle, and into the loose area of the skin in the armpit or back of the armpit in sheep. During the application, the rules of asepsis and antisepsis should be followed, and a dry, sterile injection needle and injector should be used. Zimec Injectable Solution; Unless recommended otherwise by the veterinarian, 0.2 mg ivermectin / kg body weight, 1 ml Zimec Injectable Solution / 50 kg body weight.
