Product Details

Thiazine 100 Injection is a potent sedative, analgesic, and muscle relaxant for use in horses, cattle, sheep, goats, and dogs.
It contains Xylazine Hydrochloride 100 mg/mL, a reliable alpha-2 adrenergic agonist that induces calmness, pain relief, and muscle relaxation.
It is widely used in veterinary anesthesia protocols as a premedicant, restraint aid, or minor surgical sedative.

Active Constituent (per mL)

  • Xylazine (as hydrochloride) – 100 mg

Pharmacological Action

Xylazine acts centrally on alpha-2 adrenergic receptors to inhibit norepinephrine release, resulting in sedation, analgesia, and skeletal muscle relaxation.
It also reduces stress-related physiological responses, making it effective for handling or minor procedures.

Indications

✅ Sedation and restraint during diagnostic or minor surgical procedures
✅ Analgesia for short-term pain management
✅ Muscle relaxation during operations or examinations
✅ Premedication prior to general anesthesia
