Salbute Injection

Salbute Injection is a fast-acting bronchodilator containing Salbutamol (Albuterol), designed to relieve bronchospasms, airway obstruction, and respiratory distress in horses, camels, and cattle.
It enhances oxygen delivery, supports athletic performance, and provides relief from respiratory inflammation caused by infections, allergies, or environmental stress.

Active Constituent (per mL)

• Salbutamol Sulfate (equiv. to Salbutamol base) – 5 mg

Pharmacological Action

Salbutamol is a β₂-adrenergic agonist that acts directly on smooth muscle receptors in the bronchi, promoting muscle relaxation and airway dilation.
It improves airflow and oxygen exchange, reduces airway resistance, and increases performance capacity in working or racing animals.

Precautions

Adverse Reactions

• Mild tremors or restlessness

• Temporary increase in heart rate

• Rarely, sweating or muscle twitching (usually transient)
