Indications:
RELIVEN 20 mg is indicated for the management of pain, inflammation, and fever in large animals. It is suitable for use in:
Cattle

Relief of inflammation and pain in acute mastitis (in combination with antibiotic therapy)

Pain management following dehorning procedures (administer ~10 minutes prior, with local anesthesia)
Sheep and Lambs (≥14 days old)

Reduction of pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal conditions and routine procedures
Horses

Mechanism of Action:
Meloxicam selectively inhibits cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), reducing prostaglandin synthesis responsible for pain, inflammation, and fever, while sparing COX-1, helping to maintain gastric and renal integrity.
