Indications:
Metrazol Tablets 250 are indicated for the treatment and management of:

• Giardiasis (Giardia spp. infection)

• Chronic diarrhea and flatulence due to bacterial overgrowth

• Short bowel syndrome

• Oral anaerobic infections (halitosis, periodontal infections)

• Hepatic encephalopathy (liver-related toxin buildup)

• Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)

Mechanism of Action:
Metronidazole exerts antimicrobial activity by disrupting DNA synthesis in susceptible anaerobic bacteria and protozoa. It also offers anti-inflammatory effects and supports gut flora balance.

Dosage & Administration:
Administer orally according to your veterinarian’s instructions. Dosage is based on your dog’s weight, condition, and treatment duration. Tablets may be administered directly or mixed with food.
