Indications:
Megasil CLA is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by amoxicillin- and clavulanic acid-sensitive bacteria, including:

  • Respiratory tract infections: Pneumonia, bronchopneumonia, pleuropneumonia

  • Urinary system infections: Cystitis, nephritis, pyelonephritis

  • Digestive tract infections: Bacterial enteritis and enteropathies

  • Soft tissue infections: Skin infections, abscesses, cellulitis

  • Articular infections: Bacterial arthritis and joint infections

  • Reproductive disorders (Cattle): Mastitis, metritis (supportive therapy)


Mechanism of Action:

  • Amoxicillin disrupts bacterial cell wall synthesis

  • Clavulanic acid inhibits beta-lactamase enzymes, enhancing efficacy against resistant strains


Dosage & Administration:
Administer via intramuscular or subcutaneous injection:

  • 1 mL per 20 kg body weight daily

  • Duration of treatment as directed by a veterinarian
