Indications:
KONAVET is indicated for the treatment of systemic and cutaneous fungal infections in dogs and cats, including:

Blastomycosis: Blastomyces dermatitidis (lungs, skin, bones)

Coccidioidomycosis: Coccidioides spp. (Valley Fever, lungs)

Cryptococcosis: Cryptococcus spp. (nervous system, lungs, skin)

Histoplasmosis: Histoplasma capsulatum (respiratory tract)

Ringworm: Microsporum spp. and Trichophyton spp. (dermatophytosis)

Mechanism of Action:
Inhibits fungal ergosterol synthesis, disrupting cell membrane formation and leading to fungal cell death.
