Ammo Allwormer Paste

AMMO® Allwormer Paste is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic for horses, designed for the treatment and control of internal parasites including tapeworms, roundworms, and bots.
It combines Abamectin and Morantel Tartrate, offering dual-action efficacy against both mature and immature gastrointestinal parasites.

Pharmacological Action

• Abamectin: A macrocyclic lactone that disrupts nerve transmission in parasites, causing paralysis and death.

• Morantel Tartrate: A tetrahydropyrimidine derivative effective against adult nematodes through neuromuscular blockade.

The combination ensures comprehensive control of both roundworms and tapeworms, maintaining gastrointestinal health and optimal performance in horses.

Dosage & Administration

Route: Oral (by syringe directly over the back of the tongue)

• Dose rate: 5 mL per 100 kg body weight

• Each syringe (32.5 g) treats up to 600 kg body weight

Administration Tips:

• Ensure no feed is present in the mouth before dosing.

• Adjust dosage according to body weight using the syringe plunger markings.

Frequency of Use

• Every 6–8 weeks under normal conditions.

• Every 4–6 weeks in high parasite risk environments or performance horses.

Precautions

⚠️ Do not administer to foals under 4 weeks of age.
⚠️ Avoid use in severely debilitated animals.
⚠️ Store out of reach of children.
