Composition (per 1 mL):

• Dexamethasone: 1 mg

• Furosemide: 25 mg

Pharmacological Properties:

Lasixort NPN is a combined diuretic and anti-inflammatory injectable solution.

• Furosemide acts as a loop diuretic, promoting effective and rapid fluid excretion, thereby reducing pulmonary, hepatic, and circulatory edema.

• Dexamethasone offers strong anti-inflammatory properties, helping to reduce swelling and trauma-associated inflammation.
  Lasixort is also beneficial in managing ascites, toxic syndromes, and edema related to hepatic insufficiency.
  In cases associated with bacterial infection, concurrent antimicrobial therapy is recommended.

Indications:

Lasixort NPN is indicated for use in:

• Edema Management:
  » Pulmonary edema
  » Hepatic edema
  » Circulatory edema

• Trauma-Related Conditions:
  » Fluid accumulation and inflammation control

• Ascites:
  » Treatment of abdominal fluid retention

• Intoxication Cases:
  » Supportive detoxification therapy

Dosage & Administration:

• Horses & Camels:
  » 2 – 4 mL per 100 kg body weight, administered twice daily via slow intravenous (IV) injection
