Mastitek is a veterinary intramammary suspension developed to treat clinical mastitis in racing horses and camels. Its formulation contains broad-spectrum antibiotics, targeting the most common mastitis-causing pathogens such as Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, and E. coli.

Indications:

Treatment of clinical mastitis in racing horses and camels

Dosage and Administration:

Thoroughly milk out the affected mammary lobe

Clean the teat using a suitable disinfectant

Administer one 10 g syringe into the infected quarter

Repeat after the next milking following the same steps
Important Warnings:

Allergy Alert: Do not use in animals sensitive to cephalexin or kanamycin

Milk Withdrawal: Discard milk for 5 days (10 milkings) after last treatment

Meat Withdrawal: Do not slaughter treated animals for meat within 10 days
