Potent Dual-Action Anti-Inflammatory Glucocorticoid 

Composition (per 1 mL):

• Dexamethasone: 1 mg

• Hydrocortisone: 10 mg

Pharmacological Properties:

Dexacort 100 is a potent synthetic glucocorticoid formulation that combines dexamethasone—a corticosteroid approximately 25 times more potent than cortisol—with hydrocortisone, to deliver rapid and effective anti-inflammatory action.
It is indicated for the management of inflammatory, allergic, respiratory, and shock-related conditions in veterinary species, particularly in horses, camels, dogs, and cats.

Dosage & Administration:

• Horses and Camels:
  2 – 4 mL administered intramuscularly (IM) or slow intravenous injection (IV)

• Dogs and Cats:
  0.5 mL administered intramuscularly (IM)

Dosage may be adjusted depending on the severity of the condition and at the veterinarian’s discretion.

Withdrawal Periods:

• Meat: 3 days

• Milk: 3 days
