Amoxynil L.A. is a sterile, long-acting injectable suspension containing amoxicillin trihydrate. It is formulated to treat a broad spectrum of bacterial infections in horses, camels, dogs, and cats. Its extended-release profile ensures prolonged therapeutic levels from a single administration.

Pharmacological Action:
Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum β-lactam antibiotic from the penicillin group, active against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It interferes with bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to rapid bactericidal activity.

150 mg amoxicillin in each ml, 10 mg of benzyl alcohol (E1519), 0.08 mg of butylhydroxytoluene (E321) and 0.08 mg of butylhydroxyanisole (E320) as a preservative.
