Phenylarthrite Vetoquinol

Composition:

• Phénylbutazone: 200 mg per ml
• Alcool benzylique (E1519): 0.01 ml
• Edétate disodique: 0.04 mg

Indications:

• Treatment of inflammation, pain, and fever in dogs.
• Effective for musculoskeletal disorders, congestive conditions, and inflammatory complications of traumatic or infectious diseases.

Contraindications:

• Heart, liver, or kidney insufficiency.
• Thyroid disorders.
• Very young animals.
• Hypersensitivity to active ingredient or excipients.

Precautions:

• Avoid use in animals with vascular fragility or blood coagulation defects.
• Careful handling to avoid accidental injection or skin contact.

Side Effects:

• Local reactions, risk of thrombophlebitis or tissue necrosis, gastrointestinal disorders, decreased plasma thyroid hormone levels, kidney damage.

Dosage and Administration:

• Deep intramuscular or slow intravenous injection.
• 13.3 mg/kg body weight daily (1 ml per 15 kg body weight).
• Injections should be administered under aseptic conditions.
